It’s Not Just About Knowledge… It’s About Access
SCRIPTURE: EPHESIANS 3:18
It’s good to remember that the Bible is a living document. It is God inspired, not just words on a page. The Holy Spirit authored it and continues to govern over its use. So it’s not about merely memorizing scripture, but it is also about having relationship with The Author.
We must have access to the Holy Ghost in order to make the word that we read come alive. Through worship, prayer and praise we invoke the presence of God. It is in His presence that the word comes alive. The words we read become food. They become light and life. Your mind may know the letter of the word, but your Spirit knows the Author. He is the one who hears and answers. You have access through His precious blood.
It’s all about access.
