A teaching by Rev. Barbara Williams, President of the Ministry of the Watchman International
Week of March 4-8, 2024
MONDAY
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
A fact is the quality of being “actual”. A fact is something that has actual existence. Lack is a fact. It is born out of iniquity. Lack comes as a result of sin. Sin causes a debt to come into situations. Lack that comes as a result of sin can come upon anyone at any time.
Is there hope for us when the facts of our life point to lack? Of course there is! We can change facts with our FAITH.
Faith is the substance of something we hope to have. If we hope to have wealth, then we must have faith for it. How do we change the fact of lack with our faith? Is there a certain process that we may employ that will change the substance of our situation?
If you are in need of healing, there is good news! Proverbs 4:20-22 SAYS:
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
So there is life and health in God’s word. Since God’s word is medicine, we must take it like we would a prescription. I suggest three times a day, like you would your food. Remember, healing is the children’s bread. Consider this your “dose” for today. Remember, read, and meditate three times a day the following:
Rx: Psalm 105:37 ~ He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15

TUESDAY
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
We must first seek the Lord. Worship and praise are central to finding the heart of God and what He has in store for us. When we find God, and abide in His presence, we are giving God our attention, which is an exercise of our faith. What we give attention to, we are eventually able to believe or embrace in some way.
When we worship and praise God, our attention is upon Him instead of it being solely on the need that we have. As we enter into fellowship with Him, our fears subside and we have peace with Him. Then, we can come together and reason with Him. We need the assurance of God in order to exercise faith toward Him.
WEDNESDAY
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
While in the presence of God, we are moved by His Spirit to speak the thing that is on our hearts. Whatever the Spirit gives us to utter is the correct thing to say. Sometimes we sense the need to thank Him for different things that come to mind. We may even thank Him for the money that we have, even though it is insufficient for the need. Jesus did this when He fed the multitude. Where there is lack, there must be an appreciation for the amount that we do have, as the hand of God has provided it.
THURSDAY
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
There are principles at work in the throne room of grace. Thanksgiving is the key to increase. Consistent thanksgiving allows the free flow of grace in our lives. When we stop to give Him thanks, our confidence in God increases.
We say in our hearts that we take Him at His word, and have no confidence in the flesh. Fear leaves our midst, and there is nothing left but joy as the vision of the accomplishment of the things that we have need of comes before us. The presence of God allows our joy to be full. We have the knowing within us that God has heard us and will deliver.
FRIDAY
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
You must believe that you have received. When you pray you must exercise faith that God is faithful. This is not based on feelings, “quickenings”, “witnesses” or any such thing; it is based on what you believe. You believe the chair on which you are sitting can hold you up.
This is not a feeling; it is a fact. You see, there is a fact of faith that gives us an assurance that God is faithful. The faith fact, which is eternal, has supplanted the natural fact, which is temporal or temporary. When we replace the temporal with the eternal, we open the door for the miracle of multiplication and removal of lack to occur.
