Are You Wenting or Waiting?

MONDAY’S MEDITATION

Are You Wenting or Waiting?

SCRIPTURE: LUKE 17

Ten lepers cry out to Jesus to be healed. He tells them to go and show themselves to the priest as as the went they were healed. Faith is an action. The Holy Spirit always gives instruction on what to do to receive our health and wholeness. For these ten lepers, they had to go and show themselves to the priest to be examined for traces of the disease.

They got healed before they got there. Their faith did that. They would have to be healed before the priest examined them, so God healed them as they went.

Many of us are “wenting”, obeying the spirit of faith and expecting our miracle. Wenting is different from waiting. When you went, your faith is engaged and taking you to the next destination; when you wait, you put your faith in neutral. We should always keep our faith in motion.

Went, don’t wait!
