It Pays to Tell the Truth
SCRIPTURE: ACTS 5
The early church began with the baptism of fire. The Holy Ghost purified each vessel and then filled them with His power. We desire this. We want what we call revival, outpour, end time harvest. We even expect biblically that there will be so great a power that it will exceed that experienced by the church in the book of Acts. God will prepare us for it and it’s a good thing.
Ananias and his wife agreed to lie about a very minor thing and met the judgment of God. Where great power resides, sin cannot abide. Let’s look to God not only for His power to do miracles but also to prepare us to live pure and holy before Him.
