MONDAY’S MEDITATION
All You Have to Do Is Show Up
SCRIPTURE: 2 CHRONICLES 20:17
Israel is terribly outnumbered in this battle. They look to God for help. Did you know that when you belong to God, He fights for you? That is a long standing covenant promise. It will never change. The prophet tells King Jehoshaphat that this is God’s battle and Israel will not even have to fight. All they have to do is show up and stand still.
Miraculous things happen when we position ourselves against the enemy.
Whether it’s ungodly school policy, exploiting the innocent, elder abuse, or drugs our job as Christians is to take a stand against evil.
Declare God’s truth and He will confirm our words. If we don’t take a stand for God, ungodliness will continue to dominate our culture. The righteous are as bold as a lion.
