MONDAY’S MEDITATION
I Want to Talk to You Every Day
SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 6:11
Jesus teaches us to pray. In asking God for provision we ask, “give us this day, our daily bread.” We can only ask a day at a time. God wants to see us every day. He encourages us to ask for today, expecting to hear from us again tomorrow.
In the wilderness, Israel had a daily supply of manna … the supernatural food from heaven. It only lasted one day and spoiled if they tried to keep it overnight. Our life is stale and rotten if we don’t seek God daily … not just for provision but fellowship and worship.
God wants our lives to be fresh, new and full of power. Make plans to meet daily with Him. He has so much He wants to give us.
