You Can’t Fight Your Giant in Saul’s Armor

MONDAY’S MEDITATION

You Can’t Fight Your Giant in Saul’s Armor

SCRIPTURE: 1 SAMUEL 17:39

We are admonished to put on the full armor of God to stand against the attacks of the devil. We all are unique in appearance, gifting, ability, life experiences, calling. We have unique needs, weaknesses and strengths. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to spiritual matters. Our weapons are given to us by God.

Your sword has to fit your hand, the shield covers your body, you carve your own arrows. Your armor is study, prayer obedience and lifestyle. This assures your success in every battle. You don’t have to pray like brother So and So in order for God to hear you. The woman with the issue of blood touched His hem; the Syrophenecian woman didn’t take “no” for an answer; Bartimaeus cried louder.

How do you wrestle the devil for what’s yours? God has armor tailor made for what you face. Trust the weapons God gave you. You won’t fail.
