MONDAY’S MEDITATION
The Anointing Will Amaze You!
SCRIPTURE: LUKE 4:32
Jesus has just announced that He is anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit. Right after that, He began to preach and teach. People were amazed because His words were very powerful. They had not heard anybody speak with such power and authority. Amazement is not always positive. While the common people were encouraged and inspired, the religious hierarchy were filled with hate and envy. They attempted to throw Jesus off a cliff!
While we all covet the anointing for various reasons, we sometimes forget that whenever the anointing manifests it will draw fire from the kingdom of darkness. Often those we thought were with us we find are against us.
Yes, the anointing is amazing!
