He Holds Your Soul in Life
SCRIPTURE: PSALM 66:9
Jesus is life. He has defeated death, hell and the grave. Made an open show of the devil and his evil demons. He has all power. Hallelujah! When we pray in faith, He gives us what we ask for, holding our souls in life. We are present with Him the minute we ask. Jairus requested that Jesus come to his home and heal is daughter. Jesus said yes and began to follow him to his home. At that point, the daughter’s soul was held by Jesus in His eternal life. Before they got there, word came to Jairus that the girl was dead. Jesus immediately looked at him and told him to fear not only believe. Why?
Because she was still alive! As long as Jesus was alive she was alive… only sleeping. When they got to the house, Jesus told those present that she was not dead. They ridiculed Him. Death always makes fun of life. That’s all it has the power to do. When you confess you’re healed in the presence of symptoms, the devil and his minions laugh at you in an attempt to get you to let go. But Jairus held on and saw the glory of God. Jesus gave the command of life to her body and she arose. He is commanding life to us in the same way. Be encouraged. Your soul is held in life.
