FAITH FOR FRIDAY
You Can’t Mock God. Don’t Even Try It
SCRIPTURE: GALATIANS 6:7
Unbelief has a way of disguising itself as wisdom. When Noah built the ark, unbelieving onlookers mocked him and His God until raindrops kept falling on their heads. The end of the three year famine is declared when the prophet Elisha announced that tomorrow there would be food for sale at the gate of the city. You’d think this would be good news, but a man close to the King mocked his words saying it wouldn’t happen even if windows open in heaven.
Well, the next day, the prophet’s words came to pass. There was such a stampede that the mocker was trampled by the crowd … he never saw it coming. God watches over His word and performs it.
Honor His word as He does and you will reap the reward that only faith will bring.
