God Doesn’t Want to Just Pay Your Light Bill; He Wants to Give You the World
SCRIPTURE: PSALM 37:11
Hope that puts things in proper perspective. God restores what the devil stole. Adam owned the earth. God gave dominion to him and Eve. They forfeited legal ownership to Satan. He’s now the god of this world until Jesus.
But how did Jesus get ownership back? Through the faith of patriarchs like Noah and Abraham. If unbelief cost Adam the world, then faith will get it back. Noah believed God and inherited the world. Abraham likewise. God made him heir of the world (Romans 4:13).
God made Abraham very rich, but that wasn’t the biggie. God was looking for a man to run the whole earth like Adam did. When you say yes to God’s promise, you have the potential to be a world saver; a world changer.
Don’t limit your expectation of God. Through the faith of Abraham, we inherit much more than what we need for ourselves..we inherit the earth.
