“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'” Genesis 1:26
Dominion is given to all men. When man fell from his first estate in the garden, he did not lose dominion. Dominion means rulership, responsibility. We have that even in our sinful state, but so we don’t destroy ourselves, God brought the curse… which is failure to bring to pass all that we have in mind to do.
When we come back to God and obey Him, the curse is lifted. Isaac found this out when he set out to go to Egypt during the famine, like his father before him. God told him not to go. Why? Because God was giving him dominion over the famine. Isaac found that the blessing was on HIM , not in Egypt. What are you chasing after, child of God. Why don’t you keep still and wait for God’s direction.
The blessing is on you. Take dominion.
