He Thwarts the Plans of the Wicked
SCRIPTURE: Job 5:12-14
Nothing personal here. God is holy. It is His nature to confound wickedness. Wicked plans crumble before Him. If the princes of this world had been as wise as God, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Imagine Satan’s shock when just as he and his demons were rejoicing at Jesus’s death, He walked through hell with all power in His hands. He made an open show of of all his minions, stripped them of their power and then announced to the whole world that the father of all lies and wickedness is powerless. He has no power—only lies. Whatever you are facing today beloved, if it is wicked, it will not stand. The lie is being dismantled while you sleep. You will wake up in triumph. The mouth of the Lord has declared it!
