The Wicked Are Sunk Down Into the Pit That They Dug
SCRIPTURE: PSALM 9:15
Don’t worry about those who speak against you, oppose you, treat you unfairly. The more they plot against you, the more steps they build to their own gallows.
Remember Haman? He hated Mordecai because he refused to bow to him. That’s typical of the devil’s work. He wants to own you and if you refuse and continue to honor God, he plots to retaliate against you. Haman built a gallows on which to hang Mordecai. He was even encouraged to do it by his family. They were sure that he would prevail.
When Esther exposed Haman to the her husband, the King, his family changed their tune. They told Haman that if he has begun to fall by the power of Esther’s God, he will continue to fall. That’s your God. He allows the enemy to fall by his own work. You have the pleasure of not lifting a finger and continuing to live for God.
