Holiness Is Higher Than Royalty
SCRIPTURE: PSALM 89:35
God says, “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” He never told us to be kings and queens, even though Jesus is the King of all Kings. His kingdom is higher than any other. And He has set us as His ambassadors.
However, in this scripture He says, “I have sworn by my holiness that I will not lie.” Not on His kingdom but on His holiness. Why? Because holiness carries more weight and power. Holiness is God’s flawless character. It makes it impossible for Him to lie.
Holiness means every word He utters will come to pass. Holiness is correct judgment and righteous wisdom. It is the never fail aspect of God’s character. Wow! Holiness is perfection everywhere and in everything. I’ll trade in my dollar store tiara for holiness any day.
