MONDAY’S MEDITATION
He Scatters the Disobedient…
SCRIPTURE: NEHEMIAH 1:8
I can’t help but think of this scripture when I examine the state of the church today. Lockdowns, restrictions, regulations… everything but freedom of worship.
For the past 7 years, God has had our school of ministry focus our monthly afternoon empowerment meeting in praying for the persecuted church. Now I fully understand why. It prepared us for this time. Make no mistake about it, COVID or no, we are under persecution. The enemy has gained on us and God is the only one who can set us free.
This scripture also says that if we will come to Him in repentance, He will gather us back again. Repentance first, then gathering. There will be weeping and rejoicing when the holy remnant is fully restored!
