THURSDAY’S TRUTH
In Him Was Life
SCRIPTURE: JOHN 1:4
Jesus was a phenomenal person. Nobody ever was or ever will be like Him. Why? He possessed a life force that was beyond anything ever seen before. When He taught the people, life poured forth out of Him. He taught with authority … like He really believed what He was teaching. People felt empowered by His words.
This life force inside Him kept people wanting more. People began to have hope that the Kingdom He preached was a real place for them to enjoy. This life within Him made multitudes of people want to follow Him. Peter, when asked by Jesus if he were going to leave Him too, replied, “where would I go? Only you have the words of life.” That same life indwells us believers.
Never underestimate the power of the life within. It saves, heals, revives, and makes us whole.
