THOUGHT FOR TUESDAY
He Uprooted the Heathen and Planted His People Because He Favored Us
SCRIPTURE: PSALM 44:2-3
The earth and everything in it belongs to God. He can do whatever He desires with it. So glad He’s a holy God. He judges with righteousness. He always does what’s right. He favors the righteous… those who are like Him.
Why?
Because He knows the righteous will obey Him and do what is right with what is entrusted to them. The wicked are prone to destroy everything given to them and be a thorn in the side of the just. Recently a group of parents confronted their board of education because they approved the use of sexually explicit books for grade school children. How do you fire a whole school board and the teachers responsible for this abomination?
God knows how to remove these people from power. Just like He did with the heathen tribes. He removes the evil and establishes the just.
