Don’t Cry For Me Argentina

THURSDAY’S TRUTH

Don’t Cry For Me Argentina

SCRIPTURE: 2 CORINTHIANS 9:8

God plans our lives for His glory. Is there such a thing as a “normal Christian life?” Most of us think normal is: grow up, develop a career, get married, have a family, go to church… normal.

However, there are many of us who don’t fit that description. Some are single… get married late in life. Others never marry. Some are widowed, divorced, remarried. Some are college educated; some go to bible school, technical school, not much school but own a business. If we compare others with ourselves we may think of someone whose life is different than ours as lacking contentment, happiness or joy. But our joy is not circumstantial, it is spiritual.

The perfect life is the life that has Jesus as the head of it. Whatever your state, there is contentment for you. Nobody can pity you because of your situation. God’s grace abounds to us all, giving us all sufficiency in all things.

There are no sad cases in God’s kingdom, just joy unspeakable and full of glory!
