WEDNESDAY’S WISDOM
The God of Unlimited Supply Is Here… What Are You Going to Do?
SCRIPTURE: 1 KINGS 17
The prophet is sent by God to a widow. God promises the prophet she will provide for him during the famine. He first asks her for a drink of water. The brook where God had provided for him has dried up. He must move on. She provides the water. He next asks for a cake of bread. She refuses because she has only enough for herself and her son. This will be their last meal. She is planning to starve to death when this is gone. The prophet responds with a promise: if she will feed him first, God will supply her food til the famine ends.
What would you do?
Can you follow God’s instructions even if it looks like he’s taking your last supply?
Can you honor God with the tiniest amount while believing for unlimited return?
This woman followed the prophet’s instructions. That barrel of meal was not empty nor was the cruse of oil until the famine ended. There was unlimited supply which continued after the famine was over. The supply is always there and always available. This widow was a gentile, but God supplied to her as she honored Him. Think what He will do for you and me.
Whatever you need: food, shelter, clothing, peace, love, comfort, His supply is unlimited. Let your faith tap into it!
