Attitude Is Not Power
SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 16:19
Most of us are sensitive to attitudes of others. We often allow those attitudes to affect us. They influence us either positively or negatively.
An attitude of disapproval can cause us to lose confidence and not use our faith to pursue God’s will. Approving attitudes can be just as damaging. We give power to attitudes by considering and allowing them to influence us, because Jesus gave us the keys to the kingdom. We allow or disallow influence in our lives. Embracing this truth can make or break your success. You think someone is “making” you feel a certain way, but actually you are. You allow attitude to become power.
Attitude is merely posture and belongs to the person who has the attitude, not you. Keep it that way. Give power to God, not man and live in the liberty Christ died to give you.
