MONDAY’S MEDITATION
This Place Ain’t Big Enough for the Both of Us…
SCRIPTURE: NUMBERS 14
God hates double mindedness. Jesus says be hot or cold… choose today whom you will serve… Israel was even forbidden to plant mingled seed. God wants you for Him, but you must make the choice.
Joshua and Caleb swam upstream. Imagine being in the minority with over 80% of the people having a different opinion than you. Yet you are compelled to stand your ground. When they and ten more clan leaders were sent as spies to the promised land they all agreed the land was a great place, but only two clans thought it was worth fighting for.
Doubt and faith cannot coexist. One will live and the other must die. What lives is what God supports. The carnal man is God’s enemy. He cannot live in God’s presence, so all the doubting grown men of Joshua and Caleb’s generation died of the plague. I believe as more died, Joshua and Caleb became more convinced that God’s word was true.
If you want what God has for you, you must assassinate doubt, kill unbelief and annihilate fear. Let faith in GOD prevail. Faith is the victory!
